3-Phase 63A Power Distributor
Do you need to connect a lot of equipment during an event you’re organizing? Then it’d be wise to look at the possibilities the location offers for power current. These connections simply provide more power and can be used safely, without your guests causing unwanted risks when connecting their own equipment to your infrastructure. However, you cannot simply connect equipment to a 400V power connection; you’ll need a special power distributor for that.
63A Power Distributor
This power distributor can only be used in combination with a 63A power connection. This can be either an on-site connection or a connection to another power distributor, such as a loop-through from another 63A power distributor or a tap of a 125A power distributor. You’ll find four connections on the back of this power distributor. Two connections are based on 32A CEE connectors. The other two are based on 16A CEE plugs. You cannot directly connect audiovisual equipment to this power distributor because the outputs are all based on 400V. Do you need to do this? You’ll need to connect a 32A distributor or 16A break out to the corresponding outputs. Make sure that your total consumption does not exceed 63A. This power distributor is of course equipped with fuses on each output, but theoretically you could exceed the total maximum of 63A if you fully load each output. If this occurs, the distribution board will cut off all of your demands for power. This means no more voltage and no more working equipment. It goes without saying that you want to avoid this, so it’s always important to make a thorough power plan for your event.
Cables
In order to be able to connect this power distributor to the mains or another power distributor, it’s equipped with a short cable of about 1 metre long. This should be sufficient for connecting to another power distributor, but often not for connecting to a wall socket. You can always use an extension cable which is suitable for 63A power current. We supply these cables in lengths of both
10 and
20 metres.
