Decorative lighting is essential for creating an atmosphere at your event or for making decor stand out better. However, light decoration for such purposes is often difficult to realise. Setting up and concealing this decorative lighting is often difficult and awkward due to cabling. This set of 8 Astera LightDrops is perfect for such purposes and- best of all- it’s completely wireless.

Decorative Lighting

The Astera Lightdrops in this set are jokingly also called 'pucks'- due to the small size of this wireless light decoration, they look a lot like an ice hockey puck. However, these dimensions are actually also an advantage. Due to their size, they can be hidden very easily and are actually barely noticeable to visitors. This decorative lighting is also completely wireless. Thanks to the built-in battery, each LightDrop can operate nonstop for up to 20 hours. This eliminates the need for cables and makes it very easy to set up and conceal these decorative lights. Would you like to control and program these lights together with the rest of the show? That's possible. With an AsteraBox you can have complete freedom in controlling these lights. Fixed colour or program? Anything is possible with the AsteraBox. Would you like to use this lighting as uplights along a wall or near a pillar? That's possible. The lamps are powerful enough to shine upwards along walls and pillars. Please note that these lights are only suitable for use as uplights for locations up to 3 meters high.

Accessories

What makes this decorative lighting set so easy to use? It has a lot to do with the lighting’s physical properties. These wireless LightDrops have a swivel bracket which means they can be used both hanging and standing (as an uplighter). A magnet is mounted on the back of the casing, allowing it to be attached directly to metal parts. Hold the magnet against it and you're good to go. It is also possible to use this decorative lighting with a Manfrotto clamp, after which it can be mounted on tubes and trusses. It also might have something to do with all the supplied filters and diffusers which can be used to adjust the light beam to attain the desired final result.
