LED Wash
With the advent of LED lighting many new possibilities have become available. Compared to halogen or gas discharge lighting, LED boasts extremely low power consumption. You can simply connect everything to a normal wall socket without even having to think about it. This light also offers the possibility to change colour temperature. This light always produces white light, but you can vary between warm white and cold white light. This makes this LED Wash very suitable for use at an exhibition, buffet or for lighting a banner.
LED
As we mentioned before, this LED Wash is very energy efficient, which makes it easy to use for many projects. With a power consumption of only 160 watts, this spotlight is ideal for locations which don’t have a lot of power.
Because this light is LED, it’s quite powerful- but fortunately, it’s also dimmable. This allows you to adjust the brightness of the lighting to your own liking. A simple knob on the back of the casing immediately changes the brightness of the light beam. This makes this LED Wash ideal for events in museums for example, where art, paintings or an exhibition need to be illuminated.
Colour temperature
Light is produced by 324 small LEDs. Of these, 162 provide warm white lighting. The other 162 provide cold white lighting. However, these different LEDs can also work together, creating a whole array of white colour tones. This LED Wash can scale from a colour temperature of 2800K (warm white) all the way up to 6500K (cold white).
You will find a knob on the back of the casing with which you can adjust the colour temperature of the light beam to your liking. No need to fiddle around- one twist on the knob and you’ll see immediate change. Simple and easy for everyone to understand.
Light beam
All of the LEDs together provide a light beam with an opening angle of no less than 120 degrees. This gives this LED Wash an enormous spread of light. In practice, this means that you get fewer shadows and that you can still illuminate a surface or object evenly with fewer spotlights. Think, for example, of lighting up a buffet or catering table. You used to need multiple spotlights to eliminate shadows or create a uniformly lit buffet. This is now a problem of the past. You can adjust the hue of the light yourself.
Illuminating a banner has also become much easier. Thanks to the large spread you can easily and evenly illuminate a banner.
Are you afraid that the light beam might be too wide? No problem. This LED Wash is equipped with 4 barn doors. You can use these to frame your light beam. In fact, you close as if it were a valve and thereby determine how far the light reaches outside.
