4K Remote PTZ Camera
So you want to organise a live stream, webinar or other online event. Where to start? Precisely- the cameras. Everything has to be filmed well- it’s the only visual information that your audience will get from your live stream, after all. That’s why it’s so important to choose high quality cameras- which is exactly what we’ve done. We’ve decided to include Panasonic’s newest flagship model in our product assortment. Completely new and full of possibilities. The new AW-UE150 remote PTZ camera is the best in its class and the first remote camera that produces 4K resolution images. Want to know more about why this camera would be a great option for your online event? Read on.
PTZ Camera
PTZ cameras have quickly become a common feature in the industry. But what exactly is this camera? PTZ is an acronym which denotes the camera’s possibilities. P stands for pan, which is the way the camera turns on its horizontal axis. T is for tilt, which is the same as pan but on the vertical axis. Z sands for zoom, which you’re likely already familiar with. The advantage of these cameras is that they can be controlled remotely. Having a cameraman or camerawoman for every camera is no longer necessary. All of the settings are controlled from a special control panel. This offers two advantages. On the one hand, fewer people will need to be present in the studio, allowing studio spaces to be more compact. It also has a very positive financial impact, as one technician can control multiple remote PTZ cameras simultaneously.
HDR
What makes this camera so good? It has to do with a few of the AW-UE150’s properties and functions. Firstly, this camera comes with a completely new 1-inch MOS sensor. This sensor is much more sensitive than the standard 1/2,3 type. This sensor, in combination with the camera’s HDR support, produces beautiful images. No more dealing with washed out colours and wasting time searching for the perfect balance between under and overexposed.
That’s all we have to say about what’s going on inside the camera. How about the exterior? How can it help you make use of these new functions? In order to receive 4K/UHD video signals, you can simultaneously make use of the 12G SDI, HDMI 2.0, optical fibre and LAN connections on the base of the camera. This camera doesn’t only deal in 4K- it can also send out a Full HD signal using a separate 3G SDI and monitor connection.
Night Mode PTZ Camera
Do you want to use the camera in a dark setting? Then it’s useful to know that this camera has a special ‘night mode’ function. The camera combines its normal sensor with infrared rays to make beautiful images. There’s no longer any need to make use of special infrared cameras, which are often very average in quality. You can just use this Panasonic AW-UE150 camera. It goes without saying that these images will be in black and white.
