It probably already once caught your eye when attending an event. Black truss. These modular construction materials are the basics to be able to mount equipment or decoration. There are a lot of different types and dimensions available out there. However there is always the distinction between length sections and corner sections. Without the corner sections, making a complete construction is impossible. At exhibition halls you may be able to get away with only use long stretches of truss, however to make a nice custom construction for a booth, corner sections are needed. Truss is built to have a speedy setup and dismantle period at events. Next to this, deployability is a key-factor. With the help of conical couplers, the individual truss pieces are mounted together. Conical pins are used to lock them into place. For square truss, it's 4 pins for every connection. There pins are locked for safety with a spring. This ensures that the pin can never drop out of the construction when being used.

Prolyte H30V Black Truss

This corner section, is the so-called C003 out of the H30V series of Prolyte. This corner piece is fixated on 90 degrees. This makes it the ideal element for constructions like a goalpost, finish arch or upside down U-construction. These sections are also commonly used as the corner pieces in a suspended black truss frame or grid. Are you planning to use this C003 section in one of your constructions?
