The LD Systems Stinger 12 A G3 has a good and very tight reproduction of low, middle and high tones. Even at high volume. This speaker is designed in such a way that it can be used for any type of event. The 12" + 1" combination can be used as a full range speaker, top speaker above subwoofer, stage monitor or DJ monitor. Both speech reproduction and live sound are reproduced optimally. These speakers provide a tight low sound, enough kick and a refined high sound. In other words, with this Stinger 12 A G3 you will the speaker for every type of application.

Audio Configurations

Given the versatility of this speaker combined with the ultimate ease of use of the active amplifier module, this speaker is the basis for the 'live' sound systems in our individual rental item section. This means that you will find this speaker as part of a sound set for up to 50 people, a sound set for up to 100 people and a sound set for up to 150 people. These are ready-made sets that can be used for any small-scale live event. Think of a party, party, wedding, DJ performance or other event. You can also rent this speaker as a DJ monitor or Stage monitor.

Plug & Play Connections

We like to make it as easy as possible for you when you come to rent equipment. This LD Systems Stinger 12 A G3 is an example of this. The speaker is equipped with a TRUE1 power connection. This is a cable with which you can secure the power supply cable with one twist. The other side of the cable is a normal schuko plug and can be connected to a wall socket in the room where the event takes place. In terms of audio signal, you have two XLR/Jack 6.3mm Mic/Line combination connections. You can connect this to a microphone, mixer or DJ mixer. A volume control is available for each connection.

Settings

To set the speaker to the setting in which you wish to use it, there are a few pre-sets on the back. For example, you can choose from 'Flat' for a neutral sound image, 'Monitor' if you are going to use the speaker in a monitor setup, 'Satellite' if the speaker is used above a subwoofer or 'Full Range' if the speaker is the only form of sound reproduction is used.

Usage and application

The speaker can be placed on a speaker stand. If the room is very shallow, place the speaker high, but use the 5 degree diving angle. This is a second tripod hole at the bottom of the speaker that ensures that the speaker 'dives' slightly. The result is that you have less reflection on the wall opposite the speaker and therefore a more refined sound image. The Stinger 12 A G3 is also extremely suitable for use in combination with a distance pole and an 18" active subwoofer from the same LD Systems Stinger series. This LD Systems 12 A G3 is supplied in a transport cover or in a transport box (per 2). With this we offer options for the mode of transport with which you wish to collect it from our rental location. Rent this speaker including our transport service, then they will be delivered with a transport box.
