The LD Systems Stinger 18 A G3 is a very robust and powerful subwoofer for all kinds of applications. This subwoofer has been specially developed to work together ideally with the top speakers from the Stinger series from LD Systems. For example, we also offer the Stinger 12 A G3 active top speaker for rental. When renting this subwoofer, it is able to reproduce a tight yet deep sound with its powerful 18" driver. Ideal for situations in which a powerful reproduction of the sound is desired.

Audio Configurations

Within the Stinger series you can make different configurations. For example, these subwoofers can be stacked. Thanks to the stacking feet, the subwoofers fit together exactly, creating a stable stack. This Stinger 18 A G3 is also the basis for the 'live' sound installations of the ready-made sets in our rental set section. Instead of putting together a sound system yourself, you can therefore also opt for a sound set in which this 18" active subwoofer is already incorporated. For example, the sound set for up to 100 people or the sound set for up to 150 people. Ideal for a wedding, birthday party, dance party, DJ performance or other event.

Plug & Play Connections

We like to make it as easy as possible for you when you come to rent equipment. This LD Systems Stinger 18 A G3 Subwoofer is no exception. The speaker is equipped with a TRUE1 power connection. This is a cable with which you can secure the power supply cable with one twist. The other side of the cable is a normal schuko plug and can be connected to a wall socket in the room where the event takes place. In terms of audio signal, you have two XLR connections. You can connect this to the P.A. mixer or DJ mixer. The subwoofer is also equipped with a volume control.

Settings

For optimal sound reproduction, you have a button on the back of the subwoofer for some pre-sets. You can choose from '80Hz, 100 Hz or 120Hz'. The rule here is, the lower the number of Hz, the lower the bass sounds. There is also a 'Cardiode' preset. This pre-set is for experienced users and can only be used if you have subwoofers in combination with several Stinger 18A subwoofers.

Usage and Application

You can of course place the top speaker on a separate speaker stand, but for optimal space saving you can also place it with a distance pole right above the subwoofer. The LD Systems Stinger 18A G3 subwoofer comes with a protective cover and wheel plate. This makes transportation easier and safer. When renting this subwoofer, take its size into account. The sizes are described below in the technical specifications.
